85kg Beast of a Yellowfin
Craig and his two sons joined us for a trip to the deep on Saturday 24 April 2021.
16 Year old Gus with the help of his brother Quinn managed to catch an 85kg Yellowfin.
Boating another 3 for the day, Dad and his sons all caught their personal best Yellowfin.
10 Year old Ulrich, boated 3 fish on the spin
Tough day in the deep on 26 December when Grant, Sabrina and Ulrich went on their charter.
Water was 21 degrees, very Blue Marlin conditions. Looked good so we trolled all day, but no luck.
Fortunately on our way home we got stuck into some Yellowtail on the current line, which made Ulrich’s day worth while, 10 year old boated 3 fish on the spin.
Great little angler. 🎣
13kg 109cm Kob
Gerhard took Eugene Duvenhage and his son out on the Breede River on Monday 14 December 2020
After a slow start to the day, they caught a couple of nice Kob (weight range 3-5 kg)
Eugene caught a large 13kg 109cm Kob
They got a couple of Grunters on the hook as well.
All in all a good day fishing.
George Rzepecki and his father went for their first trip out to the deep
Friday the 13th. We had the pleasure of hosting George and his dad from New York for their first trip out to the deep.
We went very far south as the water was green all the way out to the 500m contour, we found a shoal of Longfin between the 500 and 1000m contour.
George did well catching his fist Albacore Tuna.
Catching a 40kg Yellowfin Tuna on an inshore charter
Martin Hawkins, a returning customer and his friend went on a full day, inshore charter on Thursday 12 March.
They caught a couple of Skipjacks and a Yellowfin Tuna of about 40kg on the trawl.
