George Rzepecki and his father went for their first trip out to the deep

Friday the 13th. We had the pleasure of hosting George and his dad from New York for their first trip out to the deep.

We went very far south as the water was green all the way out to the 500m contour, we found a shoal of Longfin between the 500 and 1000m contour.

George did well catching his fist Albacore Tuna.

TOSF hosts Shawn Mey from GO Fish !!

On Thursday 15th November, 4 eager fishermen met just after the break for dawn for what would later turn out to be an incredible day on the water. The sea was flat as a pond and the spirits were high as they setout.

With the 42ft they were out in the tuna ground in no time at all in absolute comfort. Everyone was very comfortable and the ride was an absolute pleasure. Then all of a sudden there were birds everywhere! The skipper stopped the boat and the lines went in and before the crew could even set all the line, they were on! The day just got better and better, they continued to get pull after pull. Longfin Tuna was what the ocean had gifted them for the day and in return they even let some free to swim for another day.
